Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Fnapper is an employee retention app. Employers use it to understand and improve employee engagement and wellbeing — through short check-in surveys ("Fnaps") and tools that help teams support one another — so they can keep their people. This policy explains what personal data we process and why.

Who We Are

Fnapper is operated by Ketonen Yhtiöt Oy ("we", "us"), a company registered in Finland. When your organization signs up for Fnapper and invites you, that organization decides to use the service and acts as the controller of your workplace data; we process the data on its behalf and to operate and improve the service. For any privacy question you can always reach us at info@fnapper.fi.

What We Collect

How We Use Your Data

Who Can See Your Data

Your individual responses are not shown to other users or to administrators. Fnapper combines responses across your team into aggregated wellbeing insights, and only those aggregated results are visible within your organization. We share data with the service providers that run Fnapper on our behalf, and when required by law. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Fnapper runs on Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Firebase Crashlytics), which provides our hosting, sign-in, database, and crash reporting. Our database is hosted in the European Union.

Where Your Data Is Stored and How We Protect It

Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure located in the European Union. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted through authentication and per-organization access rules so that people only see the data they are permitted to.

How Long We Keep It

We keep your personal data while your account and your organization's use of Fnapper remain active, and delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed or when you ask us to, unless we are required by law to keep it longer.

Your Rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@fnapper.fi. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutettu).

Children

Fnapper is a workplace tool intended for employees and is not directed to children.
